What can you expect from an IELTS coaching class? Typically, these classes involve instruction on test-taking strategies and techniques for each section of the exam. For instance, in the writing section, you might be given a model question and 20 minutes to complete the task. Afterward, the instructor will review your answer script and provide feedback on mistakes you made and ways to improve. They may also provide a model answer for you to study.

How long it will take to score 6.5 and above in IELTS exam for an absolute beginner ?


The time it takes for a person to learn English and score 6-6.5 on the IELTS Academic exam will depend on a variety of factors, including their current level of English proficiency, their study habits, and the amount of time they are able to dedicate to learning English.

For someone starting from scratch, it could take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years of consistent study to reach a level of proficiency that would allow them to score 6.5 on the IELTS Academic exam. However, if someone already has a basic understanding of English and is able to dedicate several hours a day to study, they may be able to achieve this score in a shorter period of time.

Should you use "firstly...", "Secondly...", like linking words in each paragraph of your IELTS Writing Task 02 (IELTS Essay -AC/GM)

It is observed that most of the IELTS test takers write their essays using a lot of linking words like, "Firstly", "Secondly".....etc. particularly they tend to start each paragraph with a phrase that shows a sequence. It is not much expected in essay writing. 

The following essay is an example where these sequencing words are not used at the beginning of the paragraphs.
